Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the Everyday Web Tools team (the "operator") handles information on Everyday Web Tools (https://everydaywebtools.org/, the "site").
1. What you enter and the files you choose
Text, numbers, dates, JSON and other data you enter into the tools, and the images, PDFs and other files you choose, are processed only in the browser on your device. They are never sent to or stored on our server. We do not put your input into URLs or save it on your device automatically.
Information that is sent as part of using any website — such as requests for pages, and analytics if you agree to it — is described in the sections below. Pages that handle secrets, such as the password and Nostr key generators, never load analytics.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics)
To understand how the site is used and to improve it, the site may use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics is loaded only if you agree. If you decline or make no choice, it is not loaded.

Google signals and ad personalization are not used.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your analytics choice at any time below. If you withdraw consent, Google Analytics will no longer be loaded.
You can also disable it with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
3. Information stored on your device
Your analytics choice (accept or decline) is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to our server.
The display language is chosen by the URL (such as /en/), so your language choice is not saved on your device.
When you switch the language on a tool page, settings and numbers that the tool marks as non-sensitive (for example a loan amount or a selected currency) are handed to the other-language page through your browser's session storage, and deleted as soon as that page reads them (or after 30 seconds). The invoice generator hands over the whole form in the same way (sender and client details, line items, notes, payment details and the logo), so that switching languages does not erase your work; if the browser cannot store it, the tool warns you before you leave. Other free text, files, passwords and keys are never handed over. Nothing is put in the URL or in permanent storage.
The invoice generator saves a draft in your browser's local storage only when you press its save button. The draft stays on that device until you delete it with the tool's delete button or clear your browser data.
Site search runs in your browser. The page downloads a list of tools and guides from this site; what you type is not sent or saved.
4. Server access logs
The site is served from a virtual private server (VPS) in Japan contracted by the operator. To deliver pages and to respond to unauthorized access or outages, information such as your IP address, browser type, access time and the URLs of pages you view may be processed and recorded on the server. This information is used only to operate and maintain the site.
Web fonts used on the site are also served from our server; the site does not connect to external font services.
5. Advertising
The site currently shows no advertising. If we start showing ads, we will update this policy.
6. Information you send when contacting us
Your email address and message are used only to respond to your inquiry and are not provided to third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
7. Changes to this policy
The operator may change this policy when necessary. The revised policy takes effect when it is posted on this page.
