Email signature generator (HTML)

Create an HTML email signature from your name, title, contact details, social links and logo, ready to paste into Gmail, Outlook or Apple Mail. Choose from three templates and an accent color.

A local image is embedded in the signature as data (a data URI). Gmail and many other mail clients block or strip such images, so a publicly hosted https:// image URL is more reliable. Image URLs are not loaded on this page: the preview shows a placeholder, and the output contains the <img src> as entered.

Characters the font lacks (such as Korean) use a fallback font on the recipient’s device.

Preview

Mail clients render signatures differently. Links are inactive in the preview.

Enter your name or other details to see a preview here.

HTML source
How to paste it
  • Gmail: Settings → See all settings → General → Signature.
  • Outlook on the web: Settings → Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature.
  • Apple Mail: Settings → Signatures, add a signature and paste (turn off "Always match my default message font").
  • Menu names and locations can change when mail clients are updated.

Files you select are processed in your browser on this device. They are never uploaded to or stored on our server. For how analytics are handled, see the Privacy Policy.

How to use

  1. Enter your name, job title, company, phone, email and other details. Empty fields are left out.
  2. Optionally add social profile URLs, a logo or photo URL, and choose a template, accent color and font.
  3. Check the preview, press "Copy signature" and paste it into the signature settings of your mail client. You can also copy the HTML source or download an .html file.

Supported formats and limits

  • Mail clients render signatures differently. Send yourself a test email before using it.
  • A local image is embedded as a data URI, which Gmail and many other clients block or strip. A publicly hosted https:// image URL is more reliable.
  • Image URLs are not loaded on this page, so the preview shows a placeholder. Check links and images in a real email.
  • Only http(s), mailto and tel links are written. Social profiles are text links, not icons.
  • If your browser cannot copy formatted content, only the text is copied. Download the .html file, open it in your browser and copy from there.

How it works

Many mail clients remove <style> blocks and CSS classes, so the signature uses tables and inline style attributes only.

All text you enter is HTML-escaped. Websites must be http:// or https:// URLs, email addresses become mailto links, and phone numbers become tel links with digits only; anything else is left out. Colors must be #RRGGBB and fonts come from a fixed list.

"Copy signature" puts both an HTML and a plain-text version on the clipboard (ClipboardItem).

A local image is scaled down to at most 240 px; PNG stays PNG and other formats become JPEG before embedding.

FAQ

Why does Gmail not show my image?

Gmail does not show embedded (data URI) images. Host the image on a website and enter its https:// URL instead.

Can I add social media icons?

Icons would need images hosted somewhere public, so this tool uses text links for social profiles.

Is my information sent anywhere?

No. The signature is built in your browser. Your name and contact details are not sent or stored.
